Pop In for Postcarding
Tuesday, September 8 -- 12:30-2:30 p.m., Freeland Library
Thursday, September 17 -- 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Langley Library
The Nov. 3 general election is just around the corner, and our League will be offering opportunities for members to get involved with get-out-the-vote activities. We're holding several “postcarding parties” at local libraries in September and October. Friendly handwritten postcards have proven to be an effective way to increase voter turnout.
General Election Candidate Forums
Thursday, Oct. 15 and Thursday, Oct. 22, 6 p.m.
Hear candidates' views on important issues before you cast your vote in the November 3 general election. We'll be holding candidate forums for the following races: Island County assessor, auditor, clerk, prosecuting attorney, sheriff and commissioner, and Legislative District 10 state representatives.

Vote “NO” to Protect Vulnerable Kids
LWVWA Opposes IL26-001 & IL26-638
This November, Washington voters will vote on two initiatives that would directly affect kids, families, and public schools across our state. The League of Women Voters of Washington believes both measures are flawed and would cause unintended harm to the young people they claim to help.
